Mental Health Awareness Week 2025 – Let’s Talk, Listen and Support Each Other

At Castle Eco Solutions, we believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. This Mental Health Awareness Week (12–18 May 2025), we’re taking the opportunity to reflect, support, and raise awareness around the importance of mental wellbeing in and out of the workplace.

The theme for this year is “Movement: Moving More for Our Mental Health” — a powerful reminder that staying active, both physically and socially, can have a huge impact on how we feel. Whether it’s a quick walk, a check-in with a colleague, or taking a mindful break from the day-to-day, small actions can make a big difference.

The nature of our work — from retrofit installations to working onsite — can sometimes be physically demanding and mentally challenging. Long hours, tight deadlines, and working away from home can take a toll. That’s why this week is so important.

1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health issue each year. Yet many still feel unable to talk about it — especially at work. We’re committed to breaking that stigma and ensuring our workforce feels safe, heard, and supported every day.

What We’re Doing at Castle Eco Solutions:

  • Sharing resources on how to recognise stress and seek help
  • Encouraging team walks and short movement breaks
  • Promoting our commitment to a supportive and inclusive workplace
  • Organising team sports activities over the up-and-coming months

If you’re struggling, you’re not alone. Whether you’re a team member, subcontractor, or customer — we’re here to support you. Let’s keep talking, keep moving, and keep looking out for one another.
